I work in the Army’s Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA;), which along with the Army G1…oversees DADT policy. Even before the SECDEF’s recent announcement concerning gays, the Army G1 listed DADT (determining how the Army will implement new policy once DADT is repealed by Congress) as their number 3 priority. It was great to see professional discussions on implementing new policies…and no one that I’ve met so far has indicated any push back should the law be repealed. Just thought I’d share the good news.
