It was a broadcast on The Moth (http://www.themoth.org) that brought Knights Out to my attention in the first place, thanks to the single voice of Lt. Dan Choi. Last night I had the pleasure of hearing him tell his story in person, and of meeting him afterward. I was a little weepy, I admit it. I’m so sick of the discrimination against my friends and family and I am so happy when I hear someone stand up for LOVE! Thank you Lt. Choi for your bravery and service. You are a credit to the United State and I expect your legacy to be far reaching and long lasting.
We welcome all support, whether you’re a soldier or civilian, gay or straight. We all need to come together to ensure the future of America’s armed forces.
