This week, Congress will hear from the military Chiefs on the budget - but we should expect them to be asked their personal views on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
The Marine Corps Commandant, GEN Conway, has been quite outspoken about his distaste for gays in the military, and is prepared to speak forcefully about it at the House (Wednesday) and the Senate (Thursday). Also, GEN Casey, Chief of Staff of the Army will testify on Tuesday at 0930 ET, and may indicate again his reluctance to make a change “while we are fighting two wars.” We may need your support to continue to share the evidence that DADT doesn’t work.
