Washington Post reports relaxing of “DADT” enforcement - and other things

In addition to some positive comments from active duty servicemembers, the reporter casually brings up that President Obama is “set to name a new Marine Corps commandant in the coming weeks.”  Among the service chiefs, Marine GEN Conway has been the most outspoken opponent of DADT repeal. Though it’s widely known he’s scheduled to retire in November, does this signal an earlier exit?

“Porcelain on Steel: Women of West Point’s Long Gray Line” by Knights Out Ally Donna McAleer ‘87

Check out Donna’s new book, which features profiles of Out Knights Lissa Young ‘86 and Bridget Altenburg ‘97.  While the book doesn’t focus on the DADT issue, their profiles make clear the pointlessness of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
