One of our own, 1LT Dan Choi, will be a Grand Marshal. Members, Allies, family and friends, are invited – and needed! - to march with the Knights Out contingent and demonstrate our resolve to end Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. This will be the first West Point presence in a Gay Pride Parade ever! Please join us for this historic event.
Going to be in SF/Bay area? We need you!
Needed :
1 guidon bearer (or several to trade off throughout)
3 Contingent Monitors: These are people who attend a 1 hour training session on parade safety. You will march on the edge of the parade with our contingent
1 Party Planner: Someone who lives in the area to coordinate a group social event for Saturday afternoon/evening at a local eatery/bar & grill
At least 40 marchers – a full platoon!
1 photographer to capture this historic event
Dress Code for Contingent: Knights Out Logo Shirt, Knights Out T-shirt, or “Don’t Hide” T-shirt. To receive your KO shirt early, you must order your shirt no later than June 18th - or you can purchase one at the parade assembly area. Jeans are recommended.
